Everyone is well aware of the current situation in our country regarding COVID-19 (Coronavirus) and we’d like to inform you of our efforts to minimise the risk to those using our facilities.
Since all our activities are relatively small and we’re operating in the spacious outdoors the risk of spreading the virus in this environment is no greater than any other and likely lower than many, however we recognise that risk still exists and we need to reduce that as much as possible.
We want to encourage everyone who wishes to come out and shoot to do so, as physical exercise and enjoyment of hobbies is a key component of reducing stress and maintaining good health.
Our action plan:
Hygiene: Please practise good hygiene and social distancing (no handshakes and high-fives!)
Manners: Cough or sneeze into your elbow
Sanitizing: We will sanitise bows and armguards with a 70% alcohol solution after they have been used. Please return them to staff and don’t hand them to the next guest.
Space: We will space archers with at least 1m between them and ask that you maintain that distance when you retrieve arrows. Any spectators are to hold their distance from archers and each other.
Gear: Please only pull your arrows.
Hand Sanitiser: We will also have hand sanitiser on hand for people to use – but cannot guarantee that it will last. If you have your own please help us by using it!
You may also want to consider our private tour option for our Dragon Hunt activity if you want to do an activity but want to meet as little other people as possible.
If You Feel Unwell:
Most importantly, if you are feeling at all unwell or have been in contact with someone who is – please be considerate and stay home and if necessary. Our staff will do the same and if activities are cancelled we will update on our Facebook Page or our guests directly.
Speak to your healthcare professional if you have symptoms that include fever, cough and difficulty breathing. You can ring the 24/7 Healthline on 0800 358 5453.
We’ll continue monitoring the situation in the coming days. You can also keep yourself up to date via media and the New Zealand Government Covid 19 Website.
