Archery Park supports the Nelson social community with at cost rates for archery activities.
We care about people. We believe that traditional archery has a positive effect on people of all ages. But often the ones that need an adventure experience the most are the same ones that can’t afford it or don’t have the funding for such an activity. That’s where our Robin Hood Scheme can help.
Under the scheme we work at cost and so can provide reduced rates to health and social services and community groups with a social purpose. So far we have worked with the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service, the Big Brother Big Sister network, the home school network and then some.
We also support certain fundraising activities. Normally we setup a stall where people can have a go at archery against a small fee and we will donate half of the proceeds to the fundraising goal.
In order to qualify for the scheme your business, service operation or community group must be active and engaged in a social form for our community and lack the funds to otherwise do our activities. Some areas we already support are: physical or mental health, youth development, environmental protection.
You must also be able to write us an official endorsement for our Robin Hood Scheme that we can post together with your logo on our website, social media channels and any print materials. We also require you to post at least one article about us on your social media outlets and also on your blog or newsletter you might issue. Depending on the size of our cooperation we might ask that we issue a joint press release.
Please complete the form below to apply and we will be in touch.
