Draw Weight info: Usually youth and females will be comfortable with 20# to 25# to begin with, most male beginners will be comfortable with 25# to 35#. Unless you’re a professional rower no strength training has prepared you for the unique movements required for archery – good form and shooting comes from training with a low draw weight first.
First use of the bow the nock came flying off, I have sorted that now, otherwise everything was great.
After talking to the customer they said the issue was caused by a dry fire, which is to shoot the bow without an arrow. This should never be done as it causes a brutal force on all parts of the bow and can lead to a dangerous situation. We pack a safety warning with all our bows, this is a good reminder to read it before using the set. It was lucky that only the nock point came off.
