The quasi standard for wooden arrows – the AAE Z-Nock
The AAE Z-Nock is a perfect fit for wooden arrows as the thin base blends perfectly to the arrow shaft.
It further boasts a snap-on design for a positive string fit and a larger finger pinch area – which is close to an actual wooden nock.
This is a glue on nock. It achieves a very strong bond on a wooden shaft when glued on with Uhu Hard.
Note: Make sure you select the right diameter for your arrow shaft!
Personal experience
I’ve tried many glue on nocks, but in the end always reverted to these for all my wooden arrows. They really last the distance and on some of my oldest wooden arrows (over 10years and used in many tournaments, see photo) they still sit nicely on the string.
