Bearpaw Arrow Taper Tool
If you want to make your own wooden arrows you will need one of these. An arrow taper tool works like a pencil sharpener that you use to taper the nock end and point end of your wooden arrow shaft before you glue your nocks and points on.
The cones angles are standardised and any good nock will fit the nock cone (short cone) and any good cone type arrow point (long cone) will fit the other.
Check your points before you put the cone on – some have screw on threads and don’t need the cone on your wooden arrow shaft!
Available in 2 Sizes: 5/16 and 11/32
Arrow shafts generally have a 5/16 or 11/32 inch diameter. Select the according cone tool size.
Why have we selected this product?
Simple: It’s one of the most used tools for arrow making, simple in it’s function and has both taper sizes in one tool. This model gets consistently rated 5 stars in Europe.
